The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) cordially invites you to attend the 2014 William R. Bracey Winter CEO Symposium. The Symposium will convene February 20 – 22, 2014 at the Motorola Solutions Campus, in Schaumburg, IL.
Our theme for this Symposium is “NOBLE: Providing the Bridge to Safer Communities in the Midst of the Gun Control Crisis.” Through presentations and interactive panels you will discuss the connection between mental health issues and gun control. We will also discuss legislative, training and policy issues to include, developing a collaborative community approach in the area of school safety. At the conclusion of the Symposium we will introduce strategies to address gun violence for departments and communities to help combat the issues of gun violence. NOBLE will host a Town Hall Community Forum at the Chicago Police Headquarters during the CEO Symposium.
This will be a must attend Symposium and we need you to participate by sharing your ideas and experiences. Based upon your feedback during and after the Symposium, NOBLE will produce a White Paper that will become a useful resource on addressing gun violence. The host hotel for the event will be the Embassy Suites Hotel located at 1939 North Meacham Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173. The rate for registered delegates of NOBLE’s CEO Symposium is $128.00, which includes a full breakfast each morning and a $20.00 meal voucher per room per night during your stay. The Symposium begins on Thursday, February 20, 2014, with a Welcome Reception at 6:00 p.m., hosted by the Embassy Suites for the registered hotel and Symposium guests. The Symposium is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, with registration, and concludes on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Transportation will be provided from Embassy Suites to the Motorola Solutions Campus and to the Town Hall at Chicago Police Headquarters for registered delegates. We suggest that you make your travel arrangements for an arrival on Thursday afternoon, with a departure on Saturday evening.
